MCS Tiger, 4600 sqm of beer brewing factory meeting international standards was developed within a year from 2006 to 2007. This factory is capable of brewing 300,000 hectoliters beer per year. The brewery was built with the objective to manufacture global brands in Mongolia. The brewery is fully-automated and equipped with the German Krones AG bottline line for packaging cans, PET bottles and glass bottles.

With its Coal handling and preparation plant (“CHPP”) in oparation at UHG since 2011, MMC is the first washed coal producer of the country. They CHPP, the first of its kind in Mongolia and set to be one of the largest coking coal processing plants in the world, was designed Sedgman Engineering Technology from Australia, one of the world leaders in the coal processing in material handling technology. The first and second modules of this CHP commenced commercial operations in 2011 and 2012 respectively. MMC’s total name-plate ROM coal proccessing capacity reached and 15Mtpa by the successful commissioning of the plant’s third module in 2013.

The mining heavy equipment workshop was designed and constructed to be the most modern and advanced mining workshop facility in Mongolian mining at the time of completion. The facility in-volves the technologically advanced repairing equipment, washing system, oil distribution system, exhausting system and compressed air system.

MCS Property LLC’s “Oyu Tolgoi Underground Critical Facilities Construction” project has been selected as one of the top 6 projects in 2019 in the “Civil Engineering Project Award” nomination by the Executive Committee of the Asian Construction Engineers Coordination Council. The award was presented today during the Civil Engineering Conference in the Asian Region (CECAR) in Tokyo.
The project has introduced many construction technologies to the national construction sector including the longest spanning in-situ casted reinforced concrete beam in Mongolia, the biggest ballroom, the first unitized curtain wall system etc.
